Our most popular workshops and regularly scheduled classes include:

Argentine Tango is a sensual dance in which the partners' embrace can be open or very close, chest-to-chest.

Bachata, originating from the Dominican Republic, is one of the most popular forms of Latin Dance today. It is a very sensual and passionate rhythmical dance characterized by hip movements and, if desired, close embrace.

Salsa evolved from its Caribbean roots through the mid-1970s dance scene in New York to its sexy, exciting club favorite status today. Salsa on 1, in which the leads move forward on the first beat of the music and the follows back, is also known as L.A.Style.

Salsa on 2, also known as New York Style Salsa, has leads moving back, follows moving forward, with the first beat. This keeps dancers' steps in time to the strongest beats (first and fifth) of the music and allows follows more time to execute turns.

Show Team classes prepare students to perform locally and/or nationally at the annual Salsa Bachata Congress in Las Vegas.

See Calendar & Fees page for the current class schedule, class fees, and special packages.
